Tucked away in a residential community on the outskirts of town, a very convenient location if you happen to be in the 盘龙 Pan Long area, but for everyone else the location will be off-putting as it's quite far removed from any of the city's hotspots. But that's exactly the strength of this little gem. The lack of a central location means fewer customers which means a much quieter and calmer cafe.

Because of the low foot traffic, staff aren't particularly alive and on-the-ball, but this suits the sleepy small-town aspect. Which is one of two distinct aspects: the sleepy small town, and the modern, youthful innovator. It's a strange combination that means you get interesting hipster drinks like sour papaya cola coffee but still experience that slow-rolling vibe of a canteen halfway between cities.

Functionally it's near perfect for those looking to get some work done or sit with a friend for hours on end. They offer everything you would need like plug sockets, wifi, comfortable seating, and there's more than just the offer of seating to incentivise you to purchase a drink-- the quirky choices of inventive drinks is an incentive in itself and even makes you want to come back to try as many as possible.
