This place feels much more like a casual Mediterranean restaurant than a café in the usual sense. It’s geared towards sitting down for a proper meal rather than dropping in for a quick coffee or working session.
The atmosphere is fairly subdued. Music is playing, but it’s so quiet that it barely registers, leaving the space feeling a little flat. One more noticeable aspect is the smell of cigarette smoke, which drifts inside from the outdoor seating area where the door is often left open. It lingers enough to affect the overall experience.
Overall, it’s better approached as a place for food rather than a café-style stop, though the ambience may not appeal to everyone.

** Although the tables are a great size, they are all four-seaters meaning that any individual looking to sit for some time is going to be taking up four spaces. At quiet times this is okay, but only if you plan to have a meal, which brings us to the second issue. Since there are basically no cakes, pastries or anything that could be a nice companion to a hot drink, you're left with either ordering a drink on its own (which doesn't seem adequate to compensate the establishment for taking up 4 seats for more than 20 minutes) or ordering a full meal which is not usually what I'm after. Despite these feelings, the owner was clear that he would not mind if I stayed until closing which was about 1.5 hours from the time I arrived. Free wifi provided which seems to have a decent connection speed.
** plenty of clearly labelled vegan options
** lots of cold salad-y type dishes that are gluten free
** it seems very much like their idea of healthy. Fresh teas, juices and salads. The salads may have been predominantly cooked and the juices definitely contained sugar, but I do believe they are serving what in their minds is healthy
** basically no pastries on offer. There was a kind of borek/schnecke type thing with potato inside and a croissant sandwich, but that's it. Nothing that would compliment a hot drink either.
