The atmosphere is easygoing, with laid-back house music playing in the background, and it’s notably English-friendly. The menu is bilingual, and some staff lean towards speaking English, which makes things straightforward if your German isn’t strong.

Food and drink are more of a mixed bag. The croissant is a clear low point, stale and underwhelming, and unlikely to have been particularly good even when fresh. On the more positive side, it’s nice to see something a bit different like a beetroot latte on the menu, though the flavour ends up being fairly bland and doesn’t quite live up to the idea.
