Albrechstraße 114 Café is a very small, low-key spot that leans into simplicity and a relaxed pace. Despite the limited space, it rarely feels crowded, and there’s no sense of being rushed, which makes it easy to sit and take your time. The staff are friendly and contribute to that easygoing, unpressured atmosphere.

Space is the main limitation. The tables are extremely small, to the point where fitting a laptop alongside a drink is a squeeze, so it’s not particularly well suited for working. There’s also no Wi-Fi provided and no toilet facilities, which further limits its practicality for longer stays.

One of its stronger points is the range of vegan options, with a genuinely good selection that gives it a bit of identity. On the drinks side, the iced matcha latte is decent but unremarkable. It comes unsweetened, which some will appreciate, though having the option to add sweetness would improve it. The matcha itself doesn’t seem especially high grade, but it’s still enjoyable enough.

Food is solid without standing out. The grilled vegetable focaccia is tasty and nicely toasted, but fairly straightforward and not particularly memorable.

Overall, it’s a friendly, no-frills café with a good vegan offering, best suited for a short, relaxed visit rather than anything work-focused or extended.
