Kiez-Café Humboldthain

This was a non-starter. There were no lights on, to the point that it genuinely looked closed from the outside. The owner had to come out and confirm that it was in fact open, which didn’t exactly inspire confidence.

Inside, the atmosphere was immediately off-putting. The space felt neglected and poorly kept, with a stale smell of cigarette smoke lingering in the air. It was completely silent in a way that felt uncomfortable rather than calm, and overall just gave off a rather bleak, uninviting vibe.

I left almost immediately, so can’t comment on the food or drinks, but first impressions alone were enough to make this one a pass.
