This place makes a strong first impression simply through how busy it is, even in the middle of a workday. It quickly becomes clear that much of the crowd is there to work rather than just grab a coffee. It’s not limited to solo laptop users either. There are pairs and small groups collaborating, along with people taking calls, which gives the space a lively but noticeably noisy atmosphere.

The interior strikes a nice balance between modern and warm. Clean lines are softened by the presence of real plants on tables and around the room, which adds a bit of life and keeps it from feeling too sterile.

Food and drink are perfectly serviceable, though nothing really stands out. Drinks lean towards the functional rather than refined. Presentation is minimal, with hot drinks served in simple glassware more akin to what you might get with a soft drink. The hot chocolate, for example, avoids being overly sweet, which is a plus, but lacks depth and ends up tasting more like oat milk than chocolate.

Vegan options are limited in practice. While oat milk is available across drinks, it’s the only plant-based option, and the food menu doesn’t offer much that’s even vegetarian, let alone fully vegan. Pastries are decent but unremarkable, sitting firmly in the “good enough” category without giving much reason to seek them out.

Overall, it’s a solid, work-friendly space with a pleasant design and plenty of energy, but the noise levels and fairly average food and drink mean it’s better suited for productivity than for a standout café experience.

Workability

4/5

** This is not just a cafe that tolerates laptops, but actively encourages people to come and work. Of course people who sit for a long time with their laptops don't generate a lot of income for the business so they encourage customers to make a purchase every 1.5 hours. It's in the cafe guidelines and reinforced by their wifi access policy where customers receive a code that will allow them wifi access for exactly 90 minutes. With a purchase of a hot drink, a slice of quiche and a pastry to the value of around 15 euros I was given two tickets. For me 3 hours is usually plenty, but I would have happily purchased another drink later if I had stayed longer since the seating is comfortable, the tables are a good height and size, the room is brightly lit from outside surrounded mostly by large glass panels. Completing the workability package, there are plenty of plug sockets available for charging. It does lose a point however for two reasons. The first is the noise level, this is really due to the cafe's popularity which can't be helped but it is nevertheless a downside when trying to focus. Secondly the provided wifi is dog slow so you're still going to want to bring your own solution.

Health Focus

2/5

** It's not a selling point here at all. You can sandwiches, but I personally wouldn't rate that as a healthy option. The best you could do is a slice of quiche which at least has some nutritional value even if it has to be reheated.
